Physical exam
All patients entering our care receive a full physical exam including; weight, eyes, ears, mouth, heart, lungs, abdomen, lymph nodes and skin. We get a full history to assess any issues that need to be addressed. This also helps us establish a plan that works for you and your pet.

Wellness Visits
Jack's Exam

We also provide annual wellness exams with vaccinations. Our vaccination schedules are individualized to suit your lifestyle and your pets exposure. We recommend all dogs are vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, and Rabies vaccines. After the initial series they are administered on a rotating schedule every 3 years. And we recommend Bordetella (kennel cough) be given annually. Our practice is that all cats should be vaccinated annually to help prevent Feline Injection-Site Sarcomas by using non-adjuvanted vaccines for both Rabies and Feline Distemper (FVRCP). All indoor/outdoor cats should have Feline Leukemia vaccines annually, given intradermally. We follow all AAHA protocols in regards to vaccines.

Diagnostics
When a concern arises beyond your basic wellness visit, we are fully equipped to help. We have an in-house laboratory where we can run CBCs, Blood Chemistries, and Electrolyte Panels, as well as test for several types of parasites, viruses, bacteria, and yeast infections. We also have outside laboratory services available, that allow us to send samples for any testing that cannot be performed in-house. Our well trained staff will be able to assist with diagnostics in radiology, endoscopy, and ultrasonography.

Winston Recovering

Our fully equipped surgical suite provides a sterile environment for all surgical procedures. Our surgery abilities consist of routine spays and neuters, mass removals, certain orthopedics, exploratories, and the occasional emergency. Our anesthesia is low risk due to continual monitoring of blood pressure, ECG, heart rate, and blood oxygenation. We also have the capability to perform all levels of dentistry including routine cleanings, dental radiographs and extractions, as well as filling cavities.
