I am a native of Charlotte and a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and the Royal Veterinary College, London, UK. I have been practicing in the Asheville area since 2003. In February of 2009, I joined WNC Veterinary Hospital. I enjoy Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Ultrasonography.

I have an amazing wife and two children. We also share our house with three dogs and two cats. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and mountain biking. I love to travel, spending time with family and friends and reading.

I am originally from Boulder, Colorado, and attended the University of Colorado for an undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology. I received my DVM from Colorado State University in 2008 and following graduation moved to Knoxville, Tennessee for an additional one-year internship at the University of Tennessee where I met my husband. I moved to Asheville and joined WNC Veterinary Hospital in 2015 after practicing emergency medicine in Richmond, Virginia. I have a special interest in dentistry, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.

I stay busy with my three daughters, two elderly cats (Zufi and Marzi), and two dogs (Maybelle the Gordon Setter and Georgie the Cavalier King Charles/Beagle). In my free time, I enjoy hiking and camping with my family, eating and cooking new foods, and reading.

I am originally from South Florida and attended the University of Florida for both undergraduate and veterinary school, graduating from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. After visiting friends in the area and falling in love with it, I moved to Asheville and joined WNC Veterinary Hospital in 2024. I have a special interest in Feline Medicine and Internal Medicine.

I have two cats, Thor and Raegan, and besides spending time with the two of them, I enjoy running, hiking, working out, spending time with friends and family, and watching game shows (especially Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy!).
